RULES & GUIDELINES

These regulations can vary depending on the cemetery and may be set by the cemetery director, local government, or a governing body such as a cemetery association- and are subject to change. It is important to familiarize oneself with the specific regulations of a cemetery to ensure that the burial and memorialization of a loved one is done in accordance with the rules and out of respect for the cemetery and those interred there.

Cemetery regulations are rules and guidelines that are put in place to ensure the proper maintenance, safety, and respect of a cemetery.
